Other ways to decorate bulk trucker hats
Most bulk trucker orders are flat embroidery or a leather patch. These are the other requests Battle Born Clothing gets, with a straight answer on each.
Patch plus embroidery combo
Leather patch on the front, embroidered text or icon on the side or back. Price is the patch tier plus the embroidery tier. Example at 144: $5.00 patch + $5.00 embroidery = $10.00 decoration, $23.50 all-in on a Richardson 112, plus $18.99 digitizing for the embroidered element.
Embroidered or sublimated patches
An embroidered patch (a stitched emblem with a merrowed edge) or a sublimated patch sewn to the front is quoted per job. We do not make woven patches. If your art is full-color or photographic, a sublimated patch is usually the honest answer, and we will quote it.
Screen-printed foam trucker hats
The old-school foam-front trucker with a one-color print. We screen print in-house (plastisol, water-based and discharge) and own a conveyor dryer, but foam hats are a specialty run. Quoted per job; screens are $20 per screen per color.
DTF on hats
Our DTF transfers are printed by DTF Tribe in Carson City, Nevada and pressed in-house. On trucker hats we recommend it only for flat, smooth fronts and only for art that cannot be embroidered or engraved. Quoted per job.
What we do not do
- Woven patches.
- In-house DTF printing (we outsource the transfer, press it here).
- Team or company online stores.
- Listing prices for Carhartt, Nike or OGIO caps; those are quoted per job under brand pricing rules.

Questions
Can you do full-color logos on a trucker hat?
Embroidery handles up to 15 thread colors. For true full-color art, a sublimated patch sewn on is the usual route and is quoted per job.
Do you print directly on mesh caps?
No. Mesh backs are not printable. Fronts can take a screen print on foam styles or a DTF transfer on smooth fronts, both quoted per job.
